AUTOMATIC TOOL-CHANGING DEVICE FOR HIGH LIFT WORK

PURPOSE:To shorten spanning work time by automatically changing tools of a manipulator device mounted on a boom, in an elevated place. CONSTITUTION:An automatic tool exchanging device for an elevated place work comprises a table 15 moved to the tip part or a boom, arranged in a rising and falling manner to a car body, by means of a drive part 18; a plurality of placing mounts 29 on which a plurality of respective tools T are placed; a positioning means 25 fitted in a fit-in part 24 formed in the table and caused to regulate movement of a table; a placing mount discriminating means 34 to respectively specify a plurality of the placing mounts; and first sensors S2, S3, and S4 to specify a plurality of the respective placing mounts through detection of the placing mount discriminating means. A placing mount on which a tool attached to a present manipulator device is placed is retrieved based on a tool exchange command from a manipulator device, the placing mount is stopped in a tool change position, and the table is fixed by means of the positioning means. Subsequently, the placing mount on which a tool intended to be attached to the manipulator device is placed is retrieved, the placing mount is stopped in a tool exchange position, and the table is fixed by means of the positioning means.
