CLAMP

PURPOSE:To provide a clamp which is designed to simplify fixing of two members and prevent from a drop owing to a repeated load. CONSTITUTION:A clamp comprises a clamp body 1 the whole of which is formed approximately in a C-shape as seen from a side; a wedge piece 2 inserted between the clamp body 1 and a members (h) and (p) to be nipped; and a fixing bolt 3 through screw-in of which the clamp body and the wedge piece are attached together. The clamp body 1 has first and second nipping surfaces 1A and 1B to press the two end faces of the member to be nipped between the insides of the two end parts. A distance between the two nipping surfaces 1A and 1B is increased to a value higher than the thickness of the whole of the member intended to be nipped, and one nipping surface 1B forms a slope. Further, a female screw hole 1C is formed in the insertion direction of the wedge piece in the vicinity of the nipping surface. The wedge piece 2 has a slope corresponding to the slope of the nipping surface 1B of the clamp body 1, and a through-hole in which the tip of the fixing bolt is inserted is formed in the flange part 2C formed at a base end.
