Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the subject virus (ILTV) capable of inducing immunization against avian infectious laryngotrachitis (ILT) through inoculating chickens therewith or capable of inducing immunoreaction with protein manifested by an introduced extraneous gene, and to provide polyvalent vaccine and virus vector for avian use. CONSTITUTION:This extraneous gene-manifestative recombinant ILTV bearing ILTV function can be obtained by incorporating a specific region of ILTV with an extraneous gene, e.g. a gene coding a phylactic antigen for virus or physiologically active substance.
