REMOTE VIDEO TRANSMITTER

PURPOSE:To control a television camera remotely and sends a video signal and an audio signal through a low speed digital line with high quality. CONSTITUTION:A video signal picked up by a television camera 190 of a transmitter 100 and an audio signal collected by a microphone 191 are coded at a coding section 140 with low quality and the result is sent via a digital line 310. A decoding section 240 decodes a received code at a receiver 200 to reproduce a transmission picture of low quality and while observing a picture, the operator uses an operation section 260 to control remotely the television camera 190. A coding section 150 of the transmitter 100 implements high quality coding for the video and audio signal and the result is stored in a storage section 170 and after the video signal and the audio signal are collected, they are sent to the receiver 200 at a low speed.
