Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a high molecular sensing element high in responsibility to the fluctuation in ambient temperature, large in thermistor B constant and applicable to the temperature sensing layer of a temperature detecting wire used for controlling the temperature of a planar heating element such as an electric blanket, etc. CONSTITUTION:Polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) and orthophosphoric acid are reacted with each other using a catalyst in NN'-dimethylformamide for phosphorating OH group of PVA to be turned into PVA phosphate. Next, this potassium phosphate is melted into tetraethyleneglycol to be turned into an electrolyte as a conductivity donor. Finally, polyvinyl resin as a base material is satisfactorily blended with said conductivity donor, a plasticizer and a stabilizer so as to provide the title high molecular temperature sensing element.
