SNEAK CIRCUIT DETECTION METHOD FOR ELECTRIC CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To easily detect sneak circuit by judging from comparison between the current direction for searching in path searching process and the current direction set in current direction setting process. CONSTITUTION:An electric circuit of analysis object is processed in a computer to form a net list and intended current directions are set at each circuit element constituting the circuit according to the design philosophy. The intended direction is set true and the other is set fault to input in the computer. Then, in the path searching process, all paths having current flow are searched with the computer using the net list. That is, searching of paths from a battery 10 via a key switch 11 to a brake switch 15 as a branch path of the path #1 is continued. All the electric paths are searched in the similar procedure, 4 electric paths from #1 to #4 are searched. Finally among the compiled paths, paths passing a circuit element having unintended current direction or false current direction are searched with a computer and that kind of path is judged a sneak circuit.
