Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enable remote operation by a new transmitter when a transmitter is lost or broken by switching the control state of a control device to an update mode for updating a receiving side ID code. CONSTITUTION:When a user loses or breaks a transmitter 1, the user indicates an ID code written on the side of a control device and orders a new transmitter 1 from a maker. A transmitting side ID code in a radio signal sent out from the new transmitter 1 is the same as the transmitting side ID code which becomes unserviceable, but an individual code varies with every transmitter. Accordingly, it is switched to a test mode for checking wiring by a change-over switch 15e provided on the side of the control device 3, and if a radio signal is sent from the new transmitter 1, with an ignition switch turned on, as far as both ID codes of the transmitting side and the receiving side match, an individual code is updated. After updating, remote operation can be performed by the new transmitter 1.
