FITTING METHOD OF PANEL AND PANEL FIXING MEMBER USING IT

PURPOSE:To make flush the upper surfaces of adjacent panels, when the adjacent panels are connected, by overlapping and pressing the flexible pieces of a panel fixing member that has been provided with the flexible pieces. CONSTITUTION:A panel fixing member is made up both of flexible pieces 5 consisting of vertical pieces 3, upper pieces 4, flexible pieces in the flat part, flexible pieces in the inclined parts, and flexible pieces in the fixing part and of a supporting piece 6. The panel fixing member is fitted to a shallow pan- shaped panel consisting of flat body parts 1 and the side walls 2 of the panel that are hung down nearly at right angles from the peripheries thereof by means of a supporting piece 6. Then, the space between the adjacent panel bodies is kept at a prescribed interval, and the principal parts of the flexible pieces 5 of the panel fixing member are overlapped, and the overlapped part is pressed by screws 11, so that the flexible pieces 5 are deflected so as to be fixed to the supporting body. Thus, the level of the mutual surfaces of the adjacent panels can be made flush.
