Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform cleaning work for module regeneration without interrupting the operation of a device for recycling contaminated water by providing hollow yarn membrane modules connected to the other in parallel, and connecting the connection orifices on both sides of these modules to a contaminated water circulation flow path through each individual distribution tank. CONSTITUTION:Contaminated water discharged from a building and stored in the form of activated sludge in a contaminated water tank 6 is sent under pressure to a circulation flow path 2 by a pump device P. In this case, first, changeover valves V1, V2 are left open and V3, V4 are left closed. Consequently, the contaminated water is allowed to flow to a holow yarn membrane module 1... from a first distribution tank 4, so that a filtrate is allowed to run into a second distribution tank 5. This filtrate is delivered through piping 3 and recycled as a recycle water. After the lapse of a specified time, the changeover valves V1 to V4 are reversed, if the treatment capacity of the module 1 deteriorates. Thus solid sludge captured by the module 1 is separated, and the separated sludge is introduced to a solid/liquid separator 8 through a tubular path 21 with contaminated water. The solid and the liquid portion are separated and removed by the separator 8.
