PLATE-SHAPED CERAMIC FILTER

PURPOSE:To achieve efficient filtering by reducing the flow resistance of a filtrate even when a filter is made thin and large by providing the flow resistance relaxing part communicating with a through type filtrate gathering pipe and having a pore size larger than the average pore size of a support in the support supporting a filtration film. CONSTITUTION:A plate-shaped support 2 having a filtration film 3 on the surface thereof, having a filtrate passage therein and formed from porous ceramics and a through-type filtrate gathering pipe 4 provided so as to pierce the support 2 in order to gather the filtrate flowing through the support 2 to discharge the same are provided. In this plate-shaped ceramics filter 10, the flow resistance relaxing part 1 communicating with the filtrate gathering pipe 3 and having a pore size larger than the average pore size of the support 2 is provided in the support 2. As a result, even when the filter is made thin and large, the flow resistance of the filtrate can be reduced and, since the the filtration rate is hardly limited, efficient filtering can be performed.
