Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To obtain a process for producing carrier particles which have stable electrical characteristics and substantially the same carrier electric conductivity regardless of the weight of a particle coating material and are free from the adverse influence of the remaining harmfull solvent on the carrier electric conductivity. CONSTITUTION: This process produces the carrier particles in the following manner. A suspension in a water phase composed of a product formed by partial bulk polymn. of monomer and conductive fillers, such as carbon black, is obtd. Conductive polymer particles are obtd. by drying the product obtd. by completely polymerizing this suspension. Carrier nuclei of steel, iron, ferrite, etc., are dry coated with the resulted polymer particles and, thereafter, the polymer particles are fused to the carrier nuclei by heating. The carrier particles produced in the manner described above have the electric conductivity between about 10 to about 10 (ohm-cm).
