APATITE FILM FORMING ELECTROLYTE

PURPOSE:To obtain a novel apatite film forming electrolyte through which the film is energy-savingly formed at low-temp., voltage and current density without need for expensive equipment and device. CONSTITUTION:This electrolyte contains phosphate ion, calcium ion and fluorine ion. One or two kinds among alkali metal salts and ammonium salts can be further added as a supporting electrolyte and dissolved. The electrolytic condition for forming an apatite deposited film from the electrolyte prepared from the starting materials depends on the liq. concn., temp., current density and the presence or absence of the supporting electrolyte, and the film is more easily formed at low concn., high temp. and high current density in the presence of the supporting electrolyte.
