Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a silica molded cured product having an excellent mechanical strength, free from its dry contraction, having freezing fusion resistance, not neutralized with carbon dioxide, and useful as a building material for roof materials, outer wall materials, interior materials and floor materials, and to provide a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION:A silica raw material comprising at east one kind of an aqueous solution of monomeric silica and a polymeric silica sol is kneaded with a filler and a curing accelerator, and the kneaded product is extruded into a sheet-like molding with an extruder, followed by hot-pressing the molding to provide the molded cured product.
