BASE MATERIAL FOR CURING WOUND

PURPOSE:To cover an affected part with a base material instead of self- transplantation or cross-transplantation to guide capillarites, etc., in an early stage so as to prevent bacteria contamination by forming the base material of collagen to which copper and a glycosaminoglycan are bonded. CONSTITUTION:A base material as a wound covering material to be used for protecting and accelerating curing of an affected part by a wound such as a burn, a skin-removed wound, a skin-peeled wound, etc., is formed of a modified collagen to which copper and a glycosaminoglycan are bonded. As the modified collagen, an anthrocollagen prepared by removing a telopeptide of antigen group from a collagen derived from corium of cows or a thermally modified atherocollargen prepared by removing an antigen group from the collagen derived from corium of cows and thermally modifying the antigen- removed collagen at a temperature of 40-90 deg.C is used. As the glycosaminoglycan, heparin, arginate, etc., are used.
