SYSTEM FOR RECORDING AND REPRODUCING PLURAL DISKS

PURPOSE:To provide the system recording information by recording video, etc., between plural disk media and reproducing the information without a break. CONSTITUTION:The final end part of the information recording area of one of a disk 6A and the first part of the information recording area of the other disk 6B are same contents for the constant length. A synchronizing signal is inserted in the beginning of the duplicated same content. By rotating the other disk 6B, a pickup device 1B is standing by on the first track of the first section. The linear speed of the track of both disks is kept constant and a synchronizing signal of one of disk 6A is picked up by a pickup circuit 8A. Then, the synchronizing signal of the other disk 6B is picked up by the pickup circuit 8B, the pickup 1B of the other disk 6B is followed along the track line. By changing the number or revolutions of the other disk 6B, the first part is synchronized with the final end part of one disk. Thereafter the disk is switched.
