Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To stabilize the amount of production of an inflammable gas irrespective of a change in the quantities of charged matters to be incinerated, by forming a fluidized bed by using an exhaust gas from a hollow tower part or a mixed gas of the exhaust gas and air or oxygen. CONSTITUTION:Matters to be incinerated are charged in a fluidized bed 3 formed in the lower part of a fluidized bed incinerator 1 by introducing air for primary combustion, and an inflammable gas produced is combusted by introducing air for secondary combustion into a hollow tower part 4 in the upper part and is exhausted as an exhaust gas from the hollow tower part 4. On the occasion, the fluidized bed 3 is formed by using the exhaust gas from the hollow tower part 4 or a mixed gas of the exhaust gas and air or oxygen in place of the air for primary combustion. By using the whole or the most part of the exhaust gas in place of the air for primary combustion in this way, fluidization characteristics are maintained and, on the other hand, the concentration of oxygen is adjusted. According to this constitution, a temperature control of the fluidized bed is facilitated and it is possible to suppress the amount of production of the inflammable gas even when the quantity of heat generated from the matters to be incinerated in the fluidized bed changes, and also to suppress production of a large amount of the inflammable gas in the central part of the inside of the bed.
