APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MOLDING DRY PRESS OF TILE PIECE HAVING HOOKING DOVETAIL FOOT

PURPOSE:To produce a tile piece having a hooking dovetail foot fitted to dry execution enabling the arrangement and execution of the tile piece due to hooking by dry press molding. CONSTITUTION:A tile ceramic material is uniformly and densely injected in the cavity of the mold having a dovetail foot part of a special mold mechanism to be subjected to press molding by a press means and the molded tile piece is taken out of the mold mechanism without damaging an undercut hooking dovetail foot 28. The molding mechanism is constituted of a lower mold assembly 2 composed of a combination of an outer frame mold 1 equipped with a molding hole 4 having a size fitted to the planar shape of the molded tile piece 21, a main lower mold 5 equipped with a molding surface 7 molding the rear of the tile piece and a movable lower mold 6 equipped with a dovetail foot molding surface 8 and an upper mold 3 equipped with the molding surface 17 for the rear of the tile piece.
