Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of bars to be arranged and the thickness of a bottom board, and to improve economical validity by a method wherein the base of the bottom board of an underground tank buried underground is formed in a convex surface. CONSTITUTION:Side walls 2 are erected on peripheral parts of a bottom board, and both members are buried underground. The base 11 of the bottom board 1 is formed in a convex surface. As uplift of underground water acts in the direction perpendicular to the member, it reduces bending stress acting on the base 11, while producing compressive force. Thereby, the quantity of bars to be arranged can be reduced while improving economical validity thereby.
