WIRE CLEANING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To efficiently remove from wire the oil or other contamination adhering thereto so as to protect human body or environment from its harmful effect. CONSTITUTION:The wire cleaning device is provided with a preliminary cleaning tank 2 contg. a first neutral detergent P1, a main cleaning tank 3 contg. a second neutral detergent P2 and a rinsing tank 4 contg. rinsing liq. W consisting of a warm or plain water. Both of the first neutral detergent P1 and the second neutral detergent P2 contain nonionic surface-active agent alone or in combination with anionic surface-active agent. A circulation of the first neutral detergent P1 is produced between a tank 32 and a preliminary cleaning tank body 5 to roughly remove the oil adhering thereto from wire 1. A circulation of the second neutral detergent P2 is produced between a tank 33 and a main cleaning tank body 6 to almost completely remove the oil from the wire 1. A circulation of the rinsing liq. W is produced between a tank 34 and a rinsing tank body 7 to remove the first neutral detergent P1 or the second neutral detergent P2 left uncleaned thereon from the outer surface of the wire 1.
