CONSTITUTION:A coating type magnetic recording medium comprises methacrylate ester copolymer formed by copolymerizing unsaturated monomer having methacrylate ester,-X-OH group as binder of a magnetic coating film 2 and unsaturated monomer having hydrophilic polar group.
