THERMAL MEDIUM PIPE FOR ORDINARY PIPING AND HEAT EXCHANGER PROVIDED WITH IT

PURPOSE:To restrict a projection of a curved part and to provide a more compact heat exchanger by a method wherein a thermal medium pipe for ordinary piping is comprised of two straight parts having circular section and arranged in parallel to each other and a curved line part of ellipse shape which is integrally formed to be perpendicular to these straight line parts. CONSTITUTION:A thermal medium pipe 1 for ordinary piping is comprised of two straight parts 2 having a circular sectional area and arranged in parallel to each other and a curved line part 3 of ellipse shape integrally formed with these straight line parts with its longer diameter L being perpendicular to these straight lines. The curved line 3 is bent by a bending die 4 and their contacted portions are set with a bending short diameter P. In turn, a heat exchanger 5 is comprised of plate-like fins 6 arranged side-by-side at a specified interval and a thermal medium pipe 7 inserted into the plate-like fins 6 at a right angle thereto. The thermal medium pipe 1 is connected to an end part of the thermal medium pipe 7 so as to form a piping. As a result, a full length size C of the heat exchanger 5 is a sum of a size D of the plate-like fins 6, each of the sizes Aa and Ab of each of the thermal medium pipes 1 and 1b. By using the thermal medium pipe 1, it is possible to get a compact heat exchanger.
