Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent the contamination for the environment due to the leak of the working oil of a squeezed film damper which is installed for suppressing vibration on the outside of the bearing, etc., of a rotary machine. CONSTITUTION:Each gap 8a, 8b between a damper movable member 5 and a damper supporting member 30 is perfectly shielded from outside by a separating film 6 consisting of an elastic body. Since working oil does not leak outside, the contamination for the environment is prevented, and further, the necessity of an oil supply system is obviated. Further, by installing heat radiating fins 34 in an oil reservoir chamber 29, the cooling for the working oil is accelerated.
