Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain the two-phase modulation circuit with high cost effectiveness and simple configuration employing only one diode by connecting a short stub or the like whose tip is connected to ground to a main line so as to allow the admittance of the diode in the on/off state to satisfy a prescribed relation. CONSTITUTION:A short stub 3 whose tip is connected to ground is connected to a main line 2 via a through hole 5, and an admittance Yon in the ON state when a diode 1 is viewed from a connecting point and an admittance Yoff in the OFF state satisfy the relation of Yon.Yoff=1. Thus, a current condition of the diode 1 is optimized, the diode 1 is operated close to a complete short- circuit and a complete open-state, no reflection loss is in existence, the reflected wave is ideally subject to biphase PSK modulation, and the biphase modulation circuit with high cost effectiveness and simple configuration of one diode is obtained Furthermore, the similar function is obtained by connecting an open stub whose tip is opened in place of the short stub to the main line.
