CONSTITUTION:In a metallic getter container 1, a getter material 2 which consists of a mixture of a Ba-Al alloy of 40 to 60wt.%, and Ni of 60 to 40wt.%, for example, is filled, so as to Qbtain. a getter device for a large size electron tube. The getter material 2 is filled in the condition that at least a part of it is made in a granulated powder, and thereby, the filling property of the getter material 2 is improved.
