SHELF DEVICE OF REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE:To facilitate a taking-out of a food on the upper-most shelf in a relative high refrigerator by a method wherein when the upper-most refrigerator shelf is drawn or pulled toward a user, the refrigerator shelf can be lowered by a distance corresponding to about one shelf. CONSTITUTION:The upper-most shelf 2 installed within a refrigerator having a height of about 180cm is pulled toward a user by an arm link mechanism 4. In this case, the shelf is supported in such a manner that it may be lowered by a distance corresponding to one shelf. The arm link mechanism 4 is comprised of arms 41 and 42 forming a parallel link rotable around the supporting shafts 41a and 42a, and a connecting member 6 for connecting the other ends of the arms 41 and 42. When the refrigerator shelf 2 is pulled out toward a user, engaging parts 2a and 2a formed at both wall sides of the shelf 2 are abutted and fitted to engaging shafts 41c and 42c formed at the connecting member 6. After this operation, each of the arms 41 and 42 is rotated to cause the shelf 2 to be drawn forwardly while holding it in a horizontal state and then the shelf is lowered by a distance corresponding to one shelf.
