Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To achieve the size of a refrigerator required by the users and reduce the cost of fabrication of the refrigerator and the time required for the fabrication by fabricating a refrigerator heat insulating door having a transparent window instead of a conventional simple heat insulating door. CONSTITUTION:A door body 17 having a window 15 is formed by cutting down the central portion of a heat insulating door with use of proper cutting means. A transparent window plate 24A, which comprises a plurality of layers of glass plates 24 and to the periphery of which a rubber packing 25 is fitted and a heat insulating material is fitted in the form of a frame further thereon, is fitted to the window 15, and front and rear peripheral edges are fixed against slippage thereof with a front valance 21 and a press member of a rear sash 29.
