Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To increase the wear-resistance and strength of a tongue portion for scooping up balls in a ball circulating portion so as to enable high speed operation of a ball screw. CONSTITUTION:A circulating tube 23 sized for passing balls 13 is installed along the direction crossing a thread groove 11a of a screw shaft 11 in a nut main body 12. Pins 14 having tongue portion 14a for scooping up the balls 13 from the thread groove 11a are inserted in the nut main body 12 facing to both end portions of the circulating tube 23. Accordingly, when the nut main body 12 slides along the screw shaft 11, the balls 13 move in the circulating tube 23 and the thread groove 11a.
