Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a water-soluble metal working oil composition, especially a water-soluble cutting oil composition excellent in resistance to biodeterioration (an ability to control the growth of microbes and bactericidal action) and a property of preventing putrefaction (putrefaction resistance) and ensured in the safety and hygienics of a worker. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is prepared by adding 0.1-30, preferably 0.5-10wt.%, based on the total composition, peppermint oil to a water-soluble metal working oil composition, for example, one comprising a mineral oil, a petroleum sulfonate, turkey red oil, a fatty acid amide, a surface and a higher alcohol.
