Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a cosmetic effective for mitigating dermal inflammatory reaction due to subcutaneous peroxidation and improving dermal conditions (wrinkles or liveliness of the skin). CONSTITUTION:The objective cosmetic containing, as the essential ingredients, (A) 0.00001-0.1wt.%, on a selenium basis, of a selenium compound and/or plant extract containing said compound and (B) >=40wt.% of water, in the form of e.g. solubilized preparation, oil-in-water emulsion, water-in-oil emulsion, viscous or gelled preparation.
