DOCUMENT PREPARING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To respond to the request of a user, to make the respective items of the address, the names, the postal codes of a sender and a receiver, etc., to correspond to arbitrary positions and to print the address of a postcard in a document generation device provided with the printing function of the address of the postcard. CONSTITUTION:In the document preparing device provided with address document data consisting of the respective items of the addresses, the names and the postal codes of the sender and the receiver or the like, an area is set in the arbitrary position of an area setting screen displayed in a display part 17, and an arbitrary item among the respective items is set in the set area. Thus, a control part 13 generates area data where the set item is made to correspond to the set area in the area 15c of RAM 15, and inputs necessary data in address document data in the area which is set based on the area data.
