Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a catheter which can introduce and withdraw an inside diameter ensuring tool in a blood vessel or the like by removably installing a tool for ensuring the inside diameter of a tube lumen, which is formed by a bidirectional shape memory alloy cylinder, in the forward end portion of the catheter. CONSTITUTION:A catheter comprises a catheter tube having at least one side hole bored in the peripheral surface of the vicinity of the forward end thereof, and an inside diameter ensuring tool is installed in such a manner as to cover at least a part of the side hole boring portion of the catheter tube 14. A guide wire 26 is provided in such a manner as to be freely inserted in the catheter tube.
