Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To improve responsiveness of a pin diode by raising a reverse bias voltage applied to the pin diode relating to driving method of a laser diode unit which is used as a light source for a laser printer device, etc. CONSTITUTION:In driving a laser diode unit LDU consisting of a laser diode LD and a pin diode PD which detects the amount of emitted light from the laser diode LD, the cathode side of the laser LD is connected with a constant voltage diode 14 in series and the voltage commonly applied to both the anode side of the laser diode LD and the cathode side of the pin diode PD is raised by the amount equivalent to the shift voltage of the constant voltage diode 14. As a result, the reverse bias voltage applied to the pin diode PD is raised. |
