ELECTRONIC PARTS

PURPOSE:To provide good electronic parts by forming a copper oxide film on the surface of a base material between a board connecting terminal which is connected to a board with soldering and a contact which is electrically connected thereto. CONSTITUTION:A base material 44 which is made of copper or copper alloy has a copper oxide film 48 linearly formed on the surface at the middle in the cross direction. The connector material is pressed so as to be provided with a contact 41 on one side partitioned with the oxide film 48 and a board connecting terminal 42 on the other side. The contact 41 and the terminal 42 are plated with a contact metal coating 45 and a metal coating 46 which forms a soldering section. respectively, and used for a connector. At this time, a copper silver oxide 48 is located at the middle between the contact 41 and the terminal 42. Even if melted solder covers the terminal 42 when applied to a board, its movement toward the contact 41 is prevented because the oxide film 48 which cannot be wetted with soldering is located at the middle. Solder is thus prevented from rising and bridging and good electronic parts are obtained.
