Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of strip in a single roll type strip caster and to improve the quality. CONSTITUTION:A mold roll 6 in the single roll type strip caster, is arranged in a chamber 1 as a collector for spray-deposit, and base material 14 for strip is cast with this mold roll 6, and as the deposit layer is made on the base material on the way of casting, production of the strip is improved. Further, surface layer side of the base material 14 for strip is cooled with a spraying flow 9, and difference between the above cooling and cooling from inner part of the mold roll 6 is eliminated and as the base material 14 is yet high temp., porosity in the deposit layer is not developed.
