CONVERTER APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To execute the change of a lance for blowing operation and a lance for stuck metal cutting operation by setting three sets of lance lifting carriages connected with a driving device in a lance changing carriage and exclusively using one set of these carriages to the stuck metal cutting. CONSTITUTION:In one set of the lance changing carriage 1, three sets of the lance lifting carriages 2 are built in and, at the center part, the lance 3 for exclusively used to the stuck metal cutting is arranged and, at both end parts, the lances 4 for blowing are arranged. When the blowing into the converter using one side of the lance 4 completes, the lance lifting carriage 2 is lifted to the lance changing carriage 1 by the remote control. Successively, by transport-shifting the lance changing carriage 1, the lance 3 for exclusively used to the stuck metal cutting is aligned. Further, the lance 3 is descended to the prescribed position, and the oxygen injecting nozzle in the lance 3 is faced to the furnace opening part of the converter. Oxygen is supplied to the lance 3 and the stuck metal cutting in the furnace opening part to the converter is started.
