COLOR SOLID-STATE IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a color solid-state image pickup device whose color reproducibility can be improved with simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of the color solid-state image pickup device which prepares the output signal corresponding to a frequency interleave system is amplified by a pre-amplifier, and chrominance signal components are taken out by a band filter. This device is equipped with a gain control circuit which makes a gain high in a scanning timing in which a green and white output can be obtained relatively to the scanning timing in which a yellow and cyanide output can be obtained, at the time of receiving the output signal of the pertinent band filter. Then, blue and red signals are taken out by the addition and subtraction of the output signal of the pertinent gain control circuit, and a delay signal obtained by delaying it by 1H. Therefore, a color reproducibility can be improved by solving the problem of the small size of a color difference generated at a green filter and a white filter by taking notice of only color modulated wave components.
