MANUFACTURE OF LITZ WIRE

PURPOSE:To perform a stable solder connection without retwisting and separating a number of element wires composing a litz wire in connecting a terminal of the litz wire. CONSTITUTION:After forming an element wire by applying and baking paint comprizing polyurethane resin and carboxylic acid flux in a very thin layer on a copper wire, 50-300 of the element wires are twisted in a normal way to be a bundle, and its terminal is solder connected. Otherwise, a metal complex coating is formed on the surface of the copper wire, paint maily comprising carboxylic acid flux is applied and dried in a very thin layer on the surface of the metal complex coating, and 50-300 of the element wires are twisted to be a bundle, of which terminal is solder connected. A litz wire can thus solder connected directly without retwisting the element wires.
