Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a shaft support device and to miniaturize the latter by forming a bearing support member into which one end part of a spring pin is inserted, with engineering plastic. CONSTITUTION:A spring pin 8 is press-fitted at its one end in a bearing press-fit hole 14 formed in a cover member 3 and at its the other end in a shaft support hole 16 in a shaft support member 9 made of engineering plastic and attached to a housing. The housing and the cover member 3 are rotatably supported, relative to each other with a load given by a friction force effected between the spring pin 8 and the shaft support hole 16. The shaft support member 9 is made of polyacetal, and accordingly, a satisfactory durability and wear resistant can be realized by the load which is exerted during relative rotation between the housing and the cover member 3 is maintained to be constant for a long time.
