Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent chatter mark, dross defect, etc., on a plated steel sheet caused by vibration of a roll in bath in a hot-dip plating line. CONSTITUTION:A uni-directional clutch 8 for transmitting driving load only in the specific direction, is arranged at between the rolls 1, 2 in the plating bath for hot-dip plating line and a driving motor 5, and roll driving speed of the driving motor 5 is set at 65-100% of line speed. When the rolls 1, 2 in the bath rotate as exceeding the roll, driving speed of the driving motor 5 set with driving force by shifting the plating steel sheet, the uni-directional clutch 8 is idle-run to break off the connection between both, and the development of the vibration caused by pulsation of angular velocity at between the driving motor 5 and the rolls 1, 2 in the bath, is prevented. By this method, the development of the vibration of the rolls in the plating bath can be restrained, and the development of surface defect of the chatter mark, etc., on the plated steel sheet can be prevented, and the surface quality on the plated steel sheet can remarkably be improved.
