CHANGEOVER TYPE OPTICAL FILTER DEVICE FOR VIDEO CAMERA

PURPOSE:To rotate and drive a filter turret with small torque by a manual driving means without largely altering connecting means between a driving motor, the manual driving means and the filter turret, and simultaneously, to eliminate fear of the breakdown of the connecting means between the driving motor and the filter turret even if load on the driving motor is excessively large. CONSTITUTION:In a changeover type optical filter device for a video camera in which the optical filter is changed over by rotating the filter turret provided with plural optical filters to give desired optical processing respectively to incident light by one of the driving motor and the manual driving means connected to the same rotatably through the connecting means, a slipping means SL installed in the connecting means between the driving motor and the filter turret, that is, between a motor speed reducing gear box 3A and a filter turret gear 7 and a short-circuit means to short-circuit the driving motor at the time of the driving of a manual driving means are provided.
