Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To simplify a control circuit so that a fuel injection valve with no high speed responsiveness required can be used. CONSTITUTION:A 2-cycle engine is provided with a cylinder head 2, cylinder block 3, crankcase 4, crankshaft 7 arranged in the crankcase 4, piston 5 reciprocated by rotating the crankshaft 7, intake port 9 provided on the crankcase 4, exhaust port 12 and a scavenge port 13 opened to a combustion chamber 11 and a scavenge passage 14 for connecting the scavenge port 13 to the crankcase 4. A fuel injection valve 16 is arranged in the scavenge passage 14 to generate a number of times of fuel injection from the fuel injection valve 16 one time or more per two turns and less than one time per one turn, of the crankshaft 7.
