Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To eliminate waving on molten metal surface in a molten metal discharging trough and to prevent malfunction of a molten metal surface sensor by setting a curved tube on bottom face in a degassing chamber and opening the end parts of the curved tube to the degassing chamber and a molten metal discharging chamber. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal surface sensor 15 is arranged to the molten metal discharging trough 13, and the molten metal surface sensor 15 and a supplying quantity automatic adjusting device 16 are connected to automatically adjust the supplying quantity from a holding furnace 14 with the height of the molten metal surface in the molten metal discharging trough 13. The molten metal supplied into the degassing chamber 1 from the holding furnace 14 is agitated with an agitator 11 for degassing, and hydrogen gas is removed and, at the same time, oxide is removed. As the degassing chamber 1 and the molten metal discharging chamber 3 are partitioned with a vertical parting wall 4 and connected with the curved tube 5, the waving on the degassing chamber 1 is not spread to the molten metal discharging chamber 3. Therefore, the molten metal surface sensor 15 arranged at the molten metal discharging trough 13 is precisely worked.
