Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the clamp device of a wire extender which can be constituted light and compact without needing a driving source or a driver such as air pressure, etc. CONSTITUTION:This linear clamp device 4 is equipped with a reciprocating drive means 3, a frame 14 driven by the drive means 3, a supporter 15 provided in the frame 14, and an eccentric cam 16 being mounted rotatably on the frame 14 so that it may catch the linear substance 17 to be elongated between the supporter 15 and itself. And it is constituted such that the eccentric cam 16 is rotated into the position where it bytes the linear substance 17 by the drive in one direction of the frame 14 and that the eccentric cam 16 is rotated to the position where it sets the linear substance 17 free of sliding by the driving in the opposite direction of the frame 14, in the condition that it catches the linear substance 17 to be elongated between the supporter 15 and the eccentric cam 16.
