PURPOSE:To improve characteristics such as sound quality by using a signal mode in matching with the characteristic of a load so as to drive the load. CONSTITUTION:A signal applied to a terminal 1 is applied to a constant current amplifier 2 and a constant voltage amplifier 3. An output signal of the constant current amplifier 2 is divided into a high sound frequency component and a low sound frequency component by a frequency dividing circuit network and they are fed respectively to a tweeter 6 and a woofer 7. Further, the low sound component among the output signals of the constant voltage amplifier 3 is fed to a woofer 9. Distortion is reduced generally by applying constant current drive to a speaker. Since a woofer has a low Q, a suitable electromagnetic damping is obtained with constant voltage drive. The transient response at low sound is improved and the resolution at low frequencies is improved.
