TERMINAL POWER SUPPLY DISCONNECTION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To shorten time for power supply disconnection operation by disconnecting the power supply of a terminal controller after disconnecting the power supply of the terminal while notifying the number of means connected from the terminal equipment to the terminal controller, terminal identifier, and power supply disconnection state or the like and disconnecting the host, device and the terminal. CONSTITUTION:The processing transmitting a request for disconnecting the power supply of a terminal 40i to a terminal 40i where the power supply is not disconnected is repeated by the number connected to a terminal controller 10. A command reception means 14 receives a power supply disconnection request command and passes the control to a disconnection means 15 in case the power supply is not disconnected. The disconnection means 15 performs disconnection in the case it is connected to the host device, passes the control to a command execution means 16, performing the power supply disconnection processing. After that, the execution result is passed to a command execution result transmission means 17, and the command execution result information as well as the terminal identifier is transmitted to the terminal controller 10. A command execution result reception means 18 decides the execution result information, disconnecting the power supply of the terminal controller 10.
