ELECTROPHORETIC BOARD HOLDER

PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophoretic board holder which can securely fix an electrophoretic board and also with which removal and replacement of the electrophoretic board is easy. CONSTITUTION:An electrophoretic board holder comprises a holding jig 1 having an electrophoretic board guide groove extending lengthwise and having a fixing means 3 which can be engaged with and separated from close to the upper end of a surface opposite to a surface with the guide groove provided, while a pair of holding jigs are used symmetrically. The upper end of the electrophoretic board is aligned with the upper end of a buffer reservoir 90, and the holding jigs 1 are inserted from both right and left sides so that the upper ends of the jigs 1 align with the upper ends, and then the electrophoretic board can be fixed to the buffer reservoir 90 by engaging the fitting means 3 with them. After electrophoresis, the fitting means 3 is separated and the holding jigs 1 are removed, whereby the electrophoretic board 74 can be taken out from the buffer reservoir 90.
