Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To optimumize the hitting speed of a die, to improve the quality of a work and to reduce the noise by overlapping the hydraulic driving of an air pressure control during processing of a mechanical press and controlling the speed of the hydraulic driving with a throttle valve. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic driving differential piston 1 is assembled in a ram 2 driven with a machining type driving mechanism 48 and this hydraulic driving is controlled by opening/closing the throttle valve 12. A roller 24 at the tip part of a stopping rod 26 is brought into contact with a rocker arm 25 just before hitting the die to a work according the stroke of the ram 2, and the throttle valve 12 is gradually opened by rising up by opening 51 at the drive. The position starting the opening of the throttle valve 12 and the speed are controlled by adjusting the position of the stopping rod 26 and a sliding material 35, etc.
