Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out descaling at a small space between finish stands. CONSTITUTION:When high pressure water is jetted from nozzles to the surface of a steel material between finish stands of hot rolling mills, the nozzles arranged in a pair of headers in the width direction are closed or opened separately or the opening degree are adjusted to control the width of jetting and intensity of cooling. The jetting of the high pressure water is carried out at a place near a downstream finish stand. Notches are provided to conduct a flow of jetted water on the conduction surface of an conduction device for a downstream finish stand.
