DEVICE FOR PREVENTING EDGE OVER COAT

PURPOSE:To provide a preventing device to improve moreover prevention effect of edge over coat of a strip in a continuous horizontal type electroplating device. CONSTITUTION:A shielding plate 3, which is fixed to the bottom end of frames 4 hung oscillatably from two trucks respectively arranged freely movably in width direction of the strip at the upper part of the plating vessel and shields both ends of the strip 1 from the anode 7 in the plating vessel, an electrically insulating plate 15, which is fixed to the shielding plate 3 and always brought into contact with the strip 1 to follow the side end part of the strip 1, and the blowing equipment which blows the plating solution to the contact part of the strip with the insulating plate, are provided.
