Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To extend the welding width of electroslag welding and to make it adjustable by suppressing increase of mechanism additive elements. CONSTITUTION:A second supporting plate 66 is fitted to a first supporting plate 62 to support a first cylindrical electrode 80 via guide rods 63-65 and an interval adjusting screw 68 so that the relative position in the Y direction is made freely adjustable and a second cylindrical electrode 90 is supported by the second supporting plate 6. A second driving roller 91 to drive the electrode 90 upward is coupled with a rotation axis 69 of a first driving roller 71 to drive the electrode 80 upward in the relation to slide in the axial direction. Consequently, the extensive optional welding width can be set. Since the two cylindrical electrodes 80 and 90 are driven upward at the same time by one lifting driving mechanism, the mechanism additive elements are reduced.
